Privacy Policy - Upsi: Ultimate Point Streamer

Overview

Upsi - Ultimate Point Streamer ("the app") is operated by Jarmo Suoranta. This policy describes what data the app handles, where it is stored, and under what circumstances it leaves your device.

Data collected and stored on-device

The app stores the following data locally on your device using the operating system's standard local storage mechanism (AsyncStorage):

• Team names entered during game setup
• Player names and jersey numbers entered during game setup
• Match scores, point sequences, and game timestamps
• The URL of the last successfully imported roster CSV file
• The write token issued after claiming a live stream session

This data does not leave your device unless you explicitly enable the optional live stream feature described below.

Data transmitted over the network

CSV roster import (optional)

If you choose to import a roster by entering a URL, the app fetches the content of that URL. The request is made directly from your device to the URL you provide. No data is sent to any server operated by us as part of this action.

Live stream connection (optional)

If you enter a service URL, a device name, and a claim code to enable live scoring updates, the app will transmit the following information to the backend service at the URL you configure:

• The claim code you enter
• The device name you enter
• Team names (home and away)
• Point-by-point score updates during an active match

This feature is entirely optional. The app is fully functional without it. The default backend endpoint is https://pointtracker-service-ultimate.onrender.com. If you configure a different service URL, data is sent to that address instead. We do not operate or control any third-party service URL you choose to enter.

Data not collected

We do not collect:

• Names, email addresses, or any other personal identifiers
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Location data
• Usage analytics or crash reports
• Payment information

Third-party services

The app does not integrate any analytics, advertising, or crash reporting SDKs. No data is shared with third parties except as described in the live stream section above, and only at your explicit instruction.

Data retention and deletion

All data stored by the app resides on your device. You can delete it at any time by uninstalling the app. We do not retain copies of any app data on our own infrastructure.

Children's privacy

The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children. It does not require account registration or any form of identity verification.

Changes to this policy

If this policy is updated, the revised version will be published at the same URL with an updated date at the top. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
